Ethniq – থলুৱা আমাৰ পৰিচয়
Ethniq, an exclusive hub of Handmade Assamese Ethnic wear and product previously with the name HELLO FOLK with the idea of establishing it as one of the major hub for ethnic products. Initially being operated on only offline mode , initially the proprietor vision was on focusing on own production by purchasing handlooms and re-starting dead looms and bringing the taste of ethnicity to customers on touch of their phones and computers via online mode with the introduction of e-commerce platform. The purpose is manifold apart from the revenue generation and profit maximization. What lies behind is the idea of promoting our culture of weaving clothes through handlooms and protecting the handloom industry by providing them market (mainly online). Secondly, the idea of strengthening rural economy goes parallel with almost all of the handlooms being operated by rural population mainly women thereby making the population and women financially independent and empowered.
The larger plan lies in bringing together artisans from various fields and various forms of art and boosting rural economy and rural population. Also with the introduction of e-commerce website the idea of income generation to youths directly and indirectly is also linked.
